Forth Bridges

Today's the day ............................ to say au revoir

Last day today before the French group departed for home from Edinburgh Airport.

So it was the drive down from Inverness taking in the battle of Culloden and a whisky distillerie on the way.  It's a while since I've been over the Forth Road Bridge and it was very exciting to see how quickly the new road bridge is taking shape.  The sun was glinting on the very red, newly-painted-looking Forth Railway Bridge.  You really feel surrounded by modern transport networks.

We all met up for the final dinner that evening in Edinburgh and then it was time to say - 'au revoir'.  We have had lots of fun over the past few days and we will miss our newly-found French friends.  We wish them a safe journey home and hope to see them again before too long .....................
