Superceded

While dusting this morning I noticed this Queen Victoria cup and saucer with the wording "longest and most Glorious Reign"  celebrating 60 years as Queen.  It struck me that there was some hype this week about our Queen now being the longest reigning Monarch.  It made me think my daughters and granddaughters have only lived through one monarch and I have lived through two.  Will I live to see another?  Good question certainly mu granddaughters will and probably my daughters.
Been a dull sort of day weather wise  but a good day nonetheless.
