Beech Nuts

Went into the front garden to see if there were any bees on the sedum - sadly I think I was too early.  But while looking around I found a beech nut case with two seeds inside.  On looking around I found several more and was amazed at the colours inside the shell.
had a quietish morning and then it was the Boules cup, plate and social day.  On the way we called into Amanda's and picked up her post etc.  On to the Wheatsheaf and wait for everybody to turn up.  As usual they timed it to the wire.  We played the cup first as one of the plate members was in the TA and couldn't get away too early.  KG's Team won the plate but made hard work of it.  The food was good - pulled pork rolls and chips..
The weather was super but a bit of a chilly wind.
