Wheat,Wheat,Wheat....

Dry again so away from home baling straw again. Got going by 11am and kept going till 6pm. Was getting a bit peckish by the time I finished.
Wee brother and the 2 shepherds away to Kelso to the ram sales.They came back with a suffolk ,a texel and 2 beltex. Was needing a Lleyn too,but the 2 they had their eye on made too much money.
Have just had to bring a cow in to calve. It was fun in the dark,as she was a black limousin,and didn't want to go where we wanted her to!. Managed with 2 quads though.
Tonight's blip is on the farm I was baling straw. The wheat in this field looked like it was running well,but the straw was too green to bale yet. Hope the weekend forecast is wrong !
