Vintage Sunday....

Went down the road to check if the straw was fit to bale ( it wasn't ) then fed the cattle at Newlandrigg. On the way home met lots of old motor bikes puttering towards me. Spotted a marshal on the bridge at Borthwick so stopped to find out what they were up to . Seems they were on a run from Roslin to Gifford, all 1920's bikes. By the look of some of the riders they had had them from new !
Met this sidecar combo at our road end so asked if I could get a photo and they were happy to oblige.
Combines working everywhere tonight, but our stuff not ready and straw still wet, so washed down our combine, put the header on and parked it up next to the oats in anticipation . Fingers crossed for this week.
