Smooth Glass

This is glass from the beaches of Lake Erie. It was thrown into the lake by someone, churned around in the water, worn smooth over time by the waves, and thrown up on the beach. One walks along the beach and when you see a colorful piece of glass like this you pick it up and take it home. My Mom used to do it, my sister did it, then I did it when we bought the family home from my Dad. Then I hauled this glass to 3 states and here it is in our house in Texas. It is about 1,200 miles from where I found it. Who would have thought glass travels so far?
