Another Flying Display

A really busy day (Friday) preparing some photos for entry into the village show tomorrow (Saturday). Then late afternoon, hubby and I headed off across the fields to the local Gliding Club, who are hosting a balloon festival this weekend. Unfortunately it was a wee bit windy so only one or two balloons went up and even then it was nearly dusk so my photos were not brilliant but someone arrived in a helicopter and treated us all to an impromptu aerobatic flying display........well, as much as could be done in a chopper......as we all sat drinking beer and eating burgers (I haven't done that for many years!!) in the warm evening sun :-)) 

Today is going to be really busy too.......the Gliding club are also hosting a lunch for the pilots of approximately 60 vintage aircraft that will be flying in at lunch time, so if I've got the energy I want to go up and take a look, then visit the village show and hopefully back up to the gliding club to watch the balloons go up early evening (weather permitting).

So I fully expect to be exhausted by tonight and will have to catch up with you all later  ;-)))
