Wednesday 2nd September

Continuing to back Blip my recent holiday.

An overcast start to the day but still very pleasant whilst having breakfast al fresco for the 4th day in a row. A light rain shower followed but had cleared long before we drove into Kirkcudbright for some lunch near the harbour. Some sightseeing in the town ended the afternoon, after which we retired early to our cottage for some well deserved (not really) R&R. 

I feel very fortunate to capture the two beauties above feeding at the same time. A beautiful sunset again this evening but we were too tired to drive over to Carrick for a better view.
