Cox's Orange Pipins

Today was the 25th anniversary of our golf course opening its new 9 holes, making it into an 18 hole course. It was a day I am not likely to forget as one of the guys we were playing with hit his ball into the bank of a pond, I went to retrieve it for him, the bank gave way and I fell into the pond. Everyone, except me, thought it was hilarious and numerous people today reminded me of the incident!!!!

Anyhow we all received a beer glass to commemorate the anniversary, a bit big for G&T but I suppose it will do!

This apple tree was only planted last year. I'm pleased it is doing so well as Cox's in my book have the best flavour of all the varieties.
