Katie looking her beautiful vintage self this morning. She didnt really suit gentle pastel girly colours as a tiny, and frilly dresses were so not practical but oh my word does she rock the vintage look now. Her shirley temple curls and her big eyes, her slim limbs and cheeky little expression, she totally pulls it off.

A gentle day for us today. We're pottering at home for a while, collecting some parcels, a bit of crafty things (without the beautiful dress), playing in the garden with LittleFriend.

But first, she has gotten naked as she wants me to prove to her that the "swimming pond" is in fact too cold to play in. I have tried to assure her it is not warm enough without her testing it, but she insists she needs to dip her toes.

Edit: we have had a really lovely, gentle day. She did in fact go in the swimming pond and played for a good while in there! We had some playtime at home and then early afternoon Bobbobs came to play, with her mummy. The girls played very nicely, with the toys that of course Katie usually ignores. We all went to the park and met another friend for a good long play there.

Katie was looking rather tired when we got back onto our street. Until she saw the swimming pond and started stripping off as she approached. She had an even longer play this time! Today is one of those planfree days that turns out wonderfully.
