Pride (and Pints)

Mostly pride.

These empties weren't all down to our table, though quite a few were. We managed to sneak into the Avery while it was still quiet pre-match and got a table right in the middle with a view of both matches (so we also saw Sweden beat France and put them second - hurrah!). As you can tell, it didn't stay that way after kick-off, and despite some completely over the top rumour milling about the pub's atmosphere from Simon's boss, it was all rather nice and mostly civilised (I mean, we were there, but still..)

So it's onto Sunday now and a quarter-final against Italy, we'll see how it goes...
