Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2015 Saturday -- Morning Sky

It's been a while since I've seen a morning sky like this one, but I managed to capture this, and I was thrilled

It’s been a crazy busy day and seems like I’ve gotten nothing done and here it is moments from midnight and I’m hurrying to record something of this day so that I can go to bed feeling like “Hey, I did get my blip uploaded!”

The morning started with this wonderfully brilliant sky. I even think it must have been deeper red before I got to the door to look out from our upstairs bedroom deck. Sky like this is just breathtaking.

Then we had our usual morning coffee in the bedroom and did our daily reading together. Then Mr. Fun thought we ought to put the leashes on the three pups and take them for a walk. So we walked for a little more than a mile. The pups loved it.

Then Mr. Fun could not decide if he ought to take his Honda CR-V to the dealer for service and have me follow him to bring him back home or if he should just have the dealer shuttle bring him home. He decided to have me follow him. So on the way back to the house we stopped to get a burrito -- just beans, rice, onions, tomatoes and lettuce, since we don’t eat meat, cheese, or eggs.

In the afternoon we headed to south Corona (our city) to the Pacific Sales store to look at kitchen appliances. I especially wanted to look at a KitchenAid brand 5-burner stove. The store was almost overwhelming with the enormous variety of appliances, but I think I managed to get a good perspective on stoves, and as crazy as this sounds, even got some ideas for handles (or pulls as they are called) for our kitchen cabinets, and this coming Friday we will be headed back to the cabinet shop to speak more with our sales rep.

Then we headed north to the Honda dealer to get Mr. Fun’s car. We should have gone from there to Home Depot, but we stopped at Galleano Winery, a historic little place with award winning wines. After that, in the heat of the late afternoon, I suggested that we head for home and cook some pasta to accent the delicious wines we had tasted, so we did.

Then the remainder of the evening I have been doing paper work for my classes. Now the evening is reaching its conclusion, so I’ve got to get to bed.

Good night from Southern California,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
