Menaggio

The mat in the bathroom has disappeared since we were last here. We made the 10 minute drive over to Menaggio to buy a new bath mat. We got one at the first shop we tried, so that was mission accomplished quickly.

After a walk around the town we stayed for lunch at the bar of the Hotel du Lac sitting in the sunshine. For some reason the car park was closing at 2pm with threats of cars being towed away. My assumption was there was going to be a market in the car park in the afternoon or evening.

We planned to visit the supermarket, but it did not reopen until 3:30, so we gave up on the idea and returned to Lenno.
