Varenna

We took a slow boat over to Varenna. The weather has stated to break. We are promised rain over the weekend. We had lunch at a restaurant in the square. The seating area is fairly sheltered so we were not too cool, but there were fewer people sitting outside than we usually expect.

On the ferry back to Lenno it we still managed to sit at the front of the boat in the open, but it was quite cool crossing the lake in open water, not so bad next to the coast. The sun did manage to come through from time to time, and during the sunny intervals it was warm.
