The essential utensil

This week the WBC is kitchen utensils. I really wanted to post the scales my mum uses that used to be in my dad's shop. I looked up utensil in the dictionary and thought I'd be pushing the definition to its limit should I use the scales. I'll post them tomorrow.
Anyway, this is the essential utensil in our house. Without this nifty little apparatus we'd have to use our teeth I suppose ;-o
