Grandpa

Grandpa hadn't been out for a proper walk in days, so we went over to bring him along with us. We like to check on the sheep, so that's where we went. On the field next to them, the huge green tractor that makes ensilage bales from grass, wrapping them in white plastic, was at work. We sat down on a bench to watch it.

The sheep, of course, couldn't care less. Not even two people and a small black poodle inside their very big meadows make them turn their heads this late in the season. It has been weeks since we walked through here. One good thing about the city, the sheep meadows.

This weekend is Finnkampen, a yearly athletics competition between Sweden and Finland that started in 1915. All my humans watch it on TV and cheer for the Swedish athletes. A bit boring, but I do love snoozing, so a nice afternoon all the same.
