Harvestman

It's not a spider! Harvestmen often get mistaken for spiders because they do really look like them.

It was insects galore on our first outing to Trentham Gardens since we returned from our Northumbria holiday yesterday. Some of the plants in the labyrinth must be producing plenty of nectar as it felt like mid summer with all the winged activity. 

Bees of all denominations were in abundance. Many hovers and green bottle flies. A selection of butterflies - whites, tortoiseshells and a sprinkling of red admirals. And a couple of hunting hornets too.
