Snap Dragon

These look too pretty to be dragons! They are providing flowers now, as other plants, such as sweet peas, have had their last fling of summer flowering!
It was a lovely warm, sunny Saturday and fortunately I was able to spend the afternoon in the garden - not sitting in it though! My mental list of areas to be weeded and tidied is becoming a little more manageable now!
Later, we enjoyed watching the Last Night of the Proms on tv. How quickly the season seems to have passed this year!
Have put up an extra photo - another butterfly shot. There are so many butterflies in the garden now, but they don't stay still for more than a second!
We have never had frogs in our pond, and as ponds are supposed to have a "beach" or a log to help the frogs get in and out (so says Monty Don), I put in a small "walkway" leading to a shady area - and an old flowerpot on its side near the top. 
Will Jeremy Fisher find his des res here for the winter?
Time I stopped rabbiting on!!
