In all honesty, the city of Coventry really does a hard job trying to remember it's past, but then I guess that's the way it is with most places, history is something that only comes up when an interloper from some place else drops by and asks questions.

That is a fair assessment of reality, but then even so, if you're known for, what, three maybe four things, and you've existed for like 400-500 years (alright, granted, I should have 'googled' Coventry and gotten the exact date, but then, eh)

Moving on, you think that, in particular, statues of the Lady Godiva would be better cared for - and displayed - then again, I don't work for (or understand) the local chamber of commerce
