A topsy turvy weather day but nothing like as drastic as the fate that awaits these twin towers that will cease to dominate the coastline of the Firth of Forth from noon on Saturday week.

I was privileged to visit another our city's new schools this morning and was mightily impressed by the quality of the provision and the purpose of all the pupils I met there.
