No stay of execution

A week on Saturday the chimneys and the turbine room behind them will have been blasted off the horizon for ever.

This children's playground sail seems to point significantly in the direction of the doomed structure as children pedal by on their way to school. One father was scooting schoolwards on a Segway, with his two sons  keeping up on their foot powered scooters.

A far better day than forecast with plenty of sun most of the day.  A busy work day but also found time to fit in a run on the beach and a swim at our local gym.

The afternoon and early evening was dedicated to helping host an international delegation to Edinburgh and to attend a very stimulating reception.
