2015 Thursday -- Gridlock Traffic

I made the mistake of not going straight to my car and leaving the campus before every class at this college was cut free for the mid-day exodus. Memo to self: "Don't do that again."

I arrived home extremely hungry, so we warmed some of the delicious pasta our daughter had prepared the evening before. The pasta was even more delicious today.

Our daughter leaves for Portland tomorrow to spend the weekend through Tuesday with my sister. So this evening we were all extremely tired of the triple digit temperatures and decided to go to our favorite little pasta place, Twisted Gourmet, for dinner.

Then it was home, so our daughter could finalize her packing.

We're all ready for the heat to end.
