Time for a snooze!

I’ve been to work with Ann today and I haven’t had any sleep time.  Going to work is soooo tiring for a gorgeous little collie like me.  Ann made me walk for more than an hour this morning to get to work and about 45 mins to get home.  The direct route only takes about 20 mins and she knows a day at work mentally exhausts me!!!

I got tied up on my long lead, which as most of you know, stretches from Ann’s office to the car park. I love lying at the edge of the car park watching the world go by.

Unfortunately, as far as I’m concerned, my long lead isn’t long enough???

.................Because, do you know what happened today?.........................

There I was, just lying at the edge of the car park, when guess what strolled right in front of me?..........................  A big, fat, fluffy, grey, cat!

Well, obviously I pulled on my long lead because I wanted to go chasing.  But my long lead isn’t long enough for me to go right into the middle of the car park because Ann doesn’t want me to have any fun get knocked down by a car.

Big fat fluffy grey cat must have known I couldn’t get to him unless he was very brave and didn’t think I was scary because he just strolled past me in mega slow mode and then went for a little snooze underneath a car. 

Obviously I had to keep watch and ‘evil eye’ him for ages until he woke up.  Then he just glared at me, crawled out from underneath the car, jumped over a fence and off he went!

As soon as we got home Ann gave me my dinner.  But do you know what?.........................  I’m going to have a little pre-dinner snooze first.

PS – I’m going to ask Ann if she’ll buy me a longer long lead?????
