Russia Day 2 - The Kremlin

Today we had a walking tour of The Kremlin. Although synonymous with the seat of Russian Government , the Kremlin is also a fortress within whose walls is an amazing collection of churches and other buildings. The Church of the Assumption is breathtaking, adorned with icons and frescoes and all the churches are topped with golden domes. . We also were in Red Square and going back ther tomorrow. Today finished with a concert of Russian music which was very entertaining and got back to the ship quite late having battled through the Moscow traffic, which is I think the worst I have ever seen. Apparently there are 5 million cars in Moscow ... hence the problem!
