Russia Day 3 - Red Square, GUM

Red Square is bordered on one side by the wall of The Kremlin, while the opposite is the site of GUM, formerly the government owned dept store it is now a vast shopping mall full of designer shops and cafes.
Our main trip today was to the Tretyakov Gallery which has the largest collection of Russian Art , including many icons, in the world.
After dinner this evening we are setting off to see Moscow by night ... let's hope the traffic is better than last night.
By all accounts we have been very fortunate with the weather so far. Today has been extremely warm with sun and blue skies - very unusual apparently.
