Horseshoe bend - Colorado River

Started the day with a visit to the amazing horseshoe bend of the Colorado River, pictured here with a fisheye lens, which I thought was the only way I felt brought across the height and curve of the meander, getting the picture meant standing close to the edge of the 1000-foot drop, which was a little scary! We called in at the Glen Canyon Dam, where walking across the bridge we had to duck out of the way of the Overszed load of a houseboat on a huge flatbed (extras 1) - and ended the day at Bryce Canyon looking at the amazing hoodoos.
