Clearing Summer Storm, Bryce Canyon
Our plan for today was to leave at 6 for the sunrise at Bryce Canyon, but torrential overnight rain put a stop to that - flash floods in Utah missed us, but the weather stayed pretty bad. After breakfast, we left our hotel, and I suggested that Bryce was still worth a visit - and how glad I was of that - one of the best couple of hours photography of my life! I think each of the group shot around 200 photos in the morning as the rain stopped and the clouds drifted away. It was what landscape photographers dream of, in a perfect location.
