Close up

James kindly bought me a book about close up photography for Fathers Day. Only read a couple of chapters up to now, but already inspired to try with the lenses I have. Wondering about extension tubes as the cheaper option, then if I get more interested, ask Father Christmas for a macro lens?
Apparently flowers are the most common subject for close ups. I tried a few of the suggested techniques - this was the best effort.
