If only I'd realised how far and wide a butternut squash plant would spread before I planted them... yes I know! Most people read up on these things before they plant. Not me. These plants have spread over most of my decking. Luckily I'm not using it for anything else at present. There are lots of blooms and even a couple of little squash growing though how far they'll get if the weather starts to cool down much more goodness only knows. For now, we're happy with their progress and Miniman is chuffed to bits. Keep all of your green fingers crossed!
