From little seeds...

The huge bloom that Miiniman is standing next to is a sunflower that has grown in a neighbours garden... It wasn't planted by the neighbours. The neighbours grown chrysanthemums to show in competitions not sunflowers. It may have been a bird. Whatever the case it's head was twice the size Miniman's.

It reminded me of a friend's hanging basket some years ago. He took great pride in his garden with a lawn that was preened and trimmed within an inch of its life like a green on a golf course and pots & baskets he tended daily. It was out of one of these baskets that a stem appeared and started to grow....and grow....and grow. It grew about five feet out of the top of the hanging basket before it flowered. It was a magnificent sunflower. He hated it. I loved it. It was hysterical. It was my fault that it wasn't ripped from the basket. I told him he was being mean. He blamed a bloke in the pub. My guess is it was another bird. It made me laugh.
