Grunwald Monument

We had a wander around the old city and Jewish Quarter today. This is such a fascinating city with an incredible past, so much to see, so many blips. I decided on this monument which was created in 1910 to 'hearten Polish Spirits'. It commemorated the 500th anniversary of the battle of Grunwald.
