Escapee

My foot was so painful this morning and also had a dodgy tum I decided I couldn't face what I was told was the hardest walk of the week and few loos etc?(in the end they apparently missed out the worst bit!). So, I took myself off around St Helier, then to the marina, then the Jersey Museum. Got soaked in a sudden thunderstorm en route! It was only 2pm so I jumped on a bus to Gorey as I had liked the look of the castle. Lovely little place - it even has a boat in place of a roundabout! Stayed a few hours then caught the excellent bus service back just before the walking group returned. I now find out that the walk tomorrow ends in Gorey - oh well, nice place to visit twice!
