Almost There .

Today I went to check the progress of the lift at Deansgate Metrolink Station .The powers that be  reckon next week  and I cannot wait to ride up and down in it with bike and of course, Ukelele .I crossed from Deansgate  Station over the new, superbly geometrical ,wonderfully minimalistic footbridge to the Metro Station. This construction has been a joy to watch and it was interesting talking to the workmen at the top re the date for the lift and cost of such .Money very well spent .and it does give wonderful views of the surrounding area. The actual lift must wait for opening .It's a work of engineering and horticultural art .
