My friend Karen very kindly agreed to have her students bake a cake for me to take with me at the weekend.

It's the 5th birthday of the Teenage Cancer Trust unit in Newcastle.

I'm going up to provide massage for them at the end of the Great North Run so I thought it would be nice to take a cake.
