Calming Swan
It was a hellish, stressful morning, and by lunchtime I just wanted to either cry or hide under my desk :( Instead I went for a walk along the old railway line, and watched the ducks and swans on the river, it was very relaxing and calmed me down, and got me back on to the right path. :) There were two swans preening themselves, and I just loved the way the foot came up on this shot.
There was also a duck I hadn't seen before, it was much smaller than the others, at first I thought it was a ducking, but it kept going under the water for a good minute or two before resurfacing. It was too quick for me to get a picture of it, as soon as I found where it had popped up then it was gone again. I'll try and look in my bird book later to see what it was.
Thank for all the comments and stars for my blip yesterday, much appreciated.
