La Paz, Bolivia

We arrived into Bolivia after an interesting border crossing from Peru! The border offices were in the middle of what looked like the biggest market day of the year with 1000's of locals doing their shopping! We managed to find our way back to the bus, unlike some unlucky people we left behind!

In La Paz we gave in and chose to stay at Wild Rover, an Irish run hostel chain known for its parties! 2 out of our 4 nights we joined the party scene and boy did it live up to its name!!

During the couple of days we did an awesome walking tour, shopped at the witches market (every stall had llama foetuses hanging as a sacrifice to Pachamama/Mother Earth), hung out with our German sisters Luisa and Annabel, ate at the local market and of course chilled at the hostel.
