Walking with wildlife

I knew I went too early yesterday. Rats! When we took a stroll for dinner later on in the day there was the most magnificent sunset across the bay that I should have Blipped - never mind. If you follow Lady A on an alternative social network platform you can see the images. Superb it was.

Anyway back to today and it started with a right old tough 7 mile run around Chincoteague. Topped 50 miles this holiday which is very useful, in hot temperatures, for the upcoming marathon season. Then it was off to the beach on Assateague Island a short stones throw away from Chincoteague. This is an island, obviously surrounded by the ocean (...) but houses huge amounts of wildlife amongst the wetlands and woods. After lunch we embarked on a wildlife hike spotting all types of different birds, insects and animals. How many can you recognise from this snap on the river?

Golf in the morning then it's seeking out the nearest UK Embassy to tell em we're not coming home...
