The Last Flight of XH558

This is the last flying Vulcan, which isn't going to be flying for much longer. Despite the original purpose of this beast - to kill many people in the most efficient manner - it is a beautiful piece of engineering, which I can appreciate.  Also the sound is amazing - reminds me of Concorde.  This was taken when I was looking after an 11 month old in a pushchair and an active 2 year old at scrubland beside Coventry Airport's runway - not ideal shooting conditions!
