That'll be us, then. The generation who made global travel first commonplace and then trying, who learned to shop and eat and be herded through airports that are eternally being improved, enlarged, made ever more confusing ... while all the time knowing that they will never be done, never attain the pristine and entirely spurious glamour of the artists' impressions on the hoardings that shepherd them on their way.
