Moon over Altamura

Or, to be precise, above the nave of the Carhedral in Altamura, an ancient city in Puglia, in the 'heel' if Italy. I'm living in a 17th century palace, but we eat out at night - giving us a share in the extraordinary passagiata and this lovely moonlit - and very warm - evening. They say there will be thunder tonight, rain tomorrow, but for now there is only the sound of thousands of people, young and old, parading slowly over the polished cobbles.
