White Actaea

with a Red Admiral :-)

When the sun came out this afternoon, the garden was alive with insects and butterflies galore!!! We had two of these beauties, plus several other species all basking and flitting around in the warm sunshine......a bit like me with my camera really :-0

Hub and I, with a tall ladder, managed to cut back our magnolia tree, only slightly though, in the front garden, as it's getting a little too tall! Then hub mowed the front lawn, whilst I fed all our magnolias, rhoddedendrums, azaleas to encourage their buds hopefully ;-). Then it was deadheading, sweeping and tidying generally. We even had a cup of tea outside, it was really warm. We cleared all our tools away and decided to go for a walk to make the most of the lovely weather :-)

A quick dinner tonight, watched some of the Solhiem Cup earlier today, looking good so far, watched a bit of the Davis Cup too, and now just settling down to watch the first World Cup rugby match, come on England!! ;-)

Happy weekend all..........
