Remaining Rose

Slept reasonably well again..........woke up to fog initially but the sun soon burned it off.

We had a shortish walk for the Sunday papers, warm in the sun, but chilly in the shadows.

We had what are almost the last of the tomatoes, on malted brown toast for brunch followed by a coffee.

Then it was off for dinner with youngest and his wife. We had a lovely afternoon sat in the sun, nice red wine, a scrumptious roast pork dinner and plenty of catch up chat. Now youngest has started taking his medication to reduce his eye pressure pre op so hopefully this will help with his headaches too, fingers crossed.

By the time we left their house it was starting to get dark, luckily I'd grabbed this solitary September rose which was looking rather gorgeous in the morning sunlight for today's blip.
