The King is back!

What a lovely sight back in Oman, the King is back! This beautiful Kingfisher is back from his holidays, from who knows where? But he flew off to cooler climes back in July and he's not been seen since until now. The birds are really literally 'flocking' back yesterday I saw at least twenty Herons flying in formation, something I have never seen before-I'm afraid the Crows did not like seeing that many and were trying to mob them but they were well and truly outnumbered. The temperature is slowly dropping and although it's still hot and humid in the day, the evenings are lovely. Eid Al Adha has been announced so we all get a fantastic extra holiday of two days next week added to our normal weekend. Fantastic!
