Crested Lark
A Crested Lark showing off his ability to raise his head feathers when surprised or alarmed. He was also singing very loudly to warn other birds about the very clever, stealthy Marsh Harrier hovering, who would quite happily make any bird his breakfast in the Wadi. In the UK this bird would be called a Skylark.
