70 Not Out

Len received an unexpected award at the Loughborough Outwoods Cricket Club dinner last night. He is treasurer of the club.

In honour of his still playing cricket at the age of 70, they gave him a signed bat and a super cake with a cricket theme bearing the emblem of the club. It seems awful to cut into it. I can't help him eat it because it's not gluten free.

What a lovely idea! It made his day, as you can see from him posing in the garden this morning.
