Door, Ruffec Ancient Quarter

This morning we returned to explore some more of the ancient quarter in Ruffec. We found some very worn timber constructed houses that I think must have formed the oldest part of the town. Many of the buildings have been restored but the tumble down ones were also beautiful. This door with its ornate hinges was one of a row of similar doors on what looked like old store cupboards or toilets.
