Singapore at night

Jet lagged and pyrexial with Grand Prix fever and a track side temperature of 32 degrees we snatched a view of the waterside in Zone four. We were not alone but the people were friendly and the atmosphere was one of a giant party. A giant party I was happy to be at, which is unusual for me. Margie was also impressed and we both enjoyed our first taste of Formula 1.
Our Qatar Airways flights in a Boeing 787 Dreamliner and then a brand new Airbus A350 had been excellent despite a bumpy second leg and had rekindled my love of flying and Margie's love of keeping a sick bag handy.
Our first purchase in Singapore was a large coffee, the second a ticket for the MRT (Mass Rapid Transport). The hotel room was spacious and well fitted out, the staff friendly and helpful. There is a great atmosphere about this place and I think we are going to like our stay here.
