Desperation
If I have to post a photo of Blipfoto, something has gone wrong. With me? With life? With my day?
Hopefully the latter.
It was a day where posting nothing would have been the easy option. I was "out & about" three times. At lunch I met a colleague in a local hotel - possibly the most non-photogenic building in town. There & back in the car.
Then the bank - a concrete block in a retail park. Lastly, the same hotel I was in yesterday, again for a meeting.
In between - not much time for anything except work. Dull stuff. In retrospect I should have shot one of them - that's what Blipping is about (I think). It's life - photogenic or not. Still learning...
In fact, the day ended very well. The evening meeting was the last one in the current year for my Rotary club's management committee - which I have to chair as president, and so my last meeting in the chair. When I started my year I set out to improve the way the meetings ran, so that they could be short and pleasant as opposed to long and excruciating.
I felt I'd succeeded in that, and last night at the end of the meeting I got some nice compliments from the others.
A tiny unimportant thing, but it's always fun when you set yourself a target, go public on it, and then succeed.
