The Three Graces

A wonderful day with my husband and Blipfriend JanetH in Liverpool and in glorious sunshine too.

We first walked around Albert Dock and marvelled at the marinas, the museums and galleries and the amazing mix of old and new architecture. However, nothing compares to these three beautiful gems - the Liverpool Port Authority Building, the Cunard Building and the famous Liver Building.

Janet suggested a trip on the open top tourist bus and I wasn't too keen at first, but agreed to try it. We enjoyed the tour so much, we went round twice! The first time we got off to look at the two wonderful cathedrals and the second time, we just stayed on the bus and enjoyed the commentary.

We've been treated to a second delicious evening meal and have really enjoyed our short stay with Janet. Tomorrow morning we set off for home after a really memorable holiday.
