Crook o' Lune

Last day in our holiday cottage, so we were up at the crack of dawn (well 8 am) to pack the car and leave the property as clean and tidy as we found it, then out by 10 am.

Instead of heading for home, we have an extra treat in store and we're spending a couple of days with Blipfriend JanetH:-). She wasn't due home until mid afternoon, so at her suggestion, we stopped off at a local beauty spot en route called Crook o' Lune.

It was a lovely, still day and the reflections on the river were beautiful and this is the view from a picnic spot looking towards Ingleborough in the distance.

We eventually arrived at Janet's an hour later than planned, due to a mix-up with the sat nav and some traffic diversions, but she has made us very welcome and we're just about to enjoy our evening meal. May have to catch up at a later date:-)
